I’m going to tag myself in this because I love the tag so much . I apologize for my uninvited presence *flips hair haughtily *
Then , here we go :
1) How many books are too many books in a book series?
6 . I don’t think I can take more than that . But to be honest , it all depends on the story . if the number of books are necessary for the story , then cool . Otherwise , I’m going to DNF you faster than you can say ‘no ‘
2) How do you feel about cliffhangers?
They make me mad . If it’s a series and I have to wait around for a year to see what happens next , I’m going to die a slow death trying to imagine every possible outcome .If the story ends abruptly as a cliffhanger , I’m going to murder the author in my imagination *evil laugh *
3) Hardcover or paperback?
Hardcovers ! They can take the beating for longer than paperbacks and I just love the feel of them ! But paperbacks are okay , too . They’re easy to carry around .
4) Favorite book ?
Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas
That is..for now . I’ve been having second thoughts about Sarah’s books and would have to re-read to be sure I still love it .
I also love Karen Marie Moning’s books 🙂
5) Your least favorite book?
Recently ,2 States by Chetan Bhagat
I’m sure there are more books I hate . I can’t remember any of them now lol .
But I also hate Cruel Beauty .
6) Love triangles, yes or no?
Depends . If the ‘love’ has reasons , then yeah . If it’s the unrealistic “she’s a goddess in disguise and all men love her ” sort , then no . There’s nothing that makes a story worse than a love triangle like that *gags *
7) The most recent book you just couldn’t finish?
Silas Marner by George Eliot . I just can’t make any progress with it . It’s so dry and uninteresting but I suppose I will complete it anyway . It is recommended reading for school , after all .
8) A book you’re currently reading?
Silas Marner and Circe . I’ve been making slow progress and will hopefully complete them both soon . Circe is actually awesome , though . I recommend it , you guys !
9) Last book you recommended to someone?
A Cage of Desires by Shuchi Singh Kalra came out on may 21st 2018 . I recommended it to my cousin this morning and she’s reading it right now . You should check it out , too . It’s probably the best book I read in 2018 .
10) The oldest book you’ve read? (Publication date)
Shakespeare’s works . I don’t really remember which one of his I read first . I hate them all , though .
11) The newest book you’ve read? (Publication date)
A Cage of Desires by Shuchi Singh Kalra , published on may 21st , 2018 .
12) Favorite author?
Sarah J Maas , Karen Marie Moning , Nicole Jordan …I don’t remember many others .
13) Buying books or borrowing books?
Buying ! I love collecting books , arranging them , re-arranging them , finding space for new books … Ah , the pleasure found in new books !
14) A book you dislike that everyone else seems to love?
Harry Potter . I’m sorry . Please don’t kill me .
15) Bookmarks or dog-ears?
Bookmarks . Duh . Which idiot dares to dog ear books ?
16) A book you can always reread?
All my favorites , but especially Heir of Fire , Queen of Shadows and The Warrior by Nicole Jordan .
17) Can you read while hearing music?
Nope . I always get distracted by the lyrics and the humming .
18) One POV or multiple POV? (POV=Points of view)
One POV is the best . But I don’t mind 2 POV . If it’s more than that , I can’t concentrate and will probably ditch the book because I can’t understand it .
19) Do you read a book in one sitting or over multiple days?
Mostly in one sitting . If the story is particularly boring or if it’s too stretched , I’ll drag on with the book for days . Sometimes , I ditch them because I find another book-love .
20) One book you read because of the cover?
A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Grey . I hate the book and I’m going to DNF it soon …if I could resist the temptation of the cover on the shelf over and over .
That’s it .
I loved the questions and it was so much fun to do it . I tag all of you , so feel free to do it . I’m waiting to see this tag on your blogs 🙂
What was the most recent bookish tag post you did ?
I would not kill you but you do not like Harry Potter……!!!!!!!!!!!!

i LOVE the Tog books too!! i can’t wait for KoA even though i know it’s gonna be the end of me. HoF is really good but i think it’s probably my least favorite one to reread mainly because of Aedion, and don’t get me wrong i love the guy, i just can’t do the “she’s not alive” or whatever, phase

I usually skip the parts in Adarlan when rereading HoF. I don’t think I liked anything in HoF except the relationship development and only reread to see that part of the book . I get your point about Aedion. I can’t tolerate that either .
I’m dying for KoA . The cliffhanger in EoS made me mad as well and I can hardly wait to read more , especially after the ‘revelations ‘ in ToD 🙂

I’m so happy to know that somebody else in this world doesn’t like the Harry Potter books!!! I read them in French when I was a kid and didn’t really care about them so two years ago I decided to buy the all the books in English and reread them all… worst decision ever! I don’t even know how I made it through 7 whole books! I guess I didn’t want to admit that the books suck. I feel better now that I know I’m not alone:)

I ditched the whole HP series after being 100 pages into just one book . That was all it took me to realize that I can’t stand J K Rowling ‘s writing style or story . The imagination and creative skills are good but I guess we just aren’t made for those stories 🙂
*I’m glad I found another HP disliking soul . Where have you been hiding ? 🙂 *

Sad for me that I can’t find a classics hater . Seriously , you should try ‘silas marner by George Eliot ‘ and you’ll know why I hate classics 😭😭

15 books ? I’m going to faint because I can’t comprehend being interested in any series to endure that much .
